looking sharp

All my life I've heard the saying, "things are not always as they seem" and that has been more obvious to me at this time of life.

I came back into the house from the garden and as I placed some things on the counter, my eyes fell on a little booklet entitled 4" Sensible Pumps. "No such things as 4" sensible pumps" I thought..."Ridiculous, sensible shoes are sneakers or 1" at most and besides where did I get a booklet on on 4" sensible pumps. Bruce wouldn't have one for sure....maybe Spring left it or it fell out of a magazine. And who needs a whole book promoting wearing high heels? crazy fashion trends."

.......ohhhhhhh "4" submersible pump" I turned my head sideways to read better. Yes, we had a new pump put in on Friday and it does have it's own booklet..... things are not always as they seem.
